What can I bring to your film as an Assistant Director? Let me take the stress off your director so that they can focus on crafting their vision. I will create a manageable work schedule for all departments, coordinating and communicating with them throughout production, to keep from distracting the director from this vision.

I know it sounds pretty vague, and really, I'm not very good at explaining what I do as an AD without getting really boring. I mean, what kind of AD has his own website anyways?

The truth of it is, if you hire me this is what I will do:

Levi Anderson - 1st AD on The Settling
  • Pre-Production
    • Breakdown Script into: Characters, Props, Vehicles, FX, etc.
    • Develop a Strict (yet flexible) Shooting Schedule
    • Communicate to all Departments the Shoot Schedule and Adapt to Their Needs
  • Production
    • Create & Communicate Daily Call Sheets and Dept. Needs
    • Run the Set from Call to Wrap
    • Put Safety & Comfort of Cast/Crew Above All Else
  • Post-Production
    • Deliver Production Reports Highlighting the Work Done
    • Prepare Press Release and EPK Materials
